Method #1 Printable PDF Ring Gauge
Download & Print
Grab the “Leonid’s Ring Guide” PDF (print at 100% scale).
Using the Gauge
1. Place an existing, well-fitting ring over the circles until you find the best match.
2. If your ring falls between two circles, choose the larger size.
3. Note both the circumference in mm and diameter in inches for your records.
Expert Tip: “Always measure at the end of the day—fingers swell slightly with activity,” says Vivian, Leonid’s Head Gemologist.

Method #2: DIY String or Paper & Ruler
1. Wrap a thin strip of paper or string around the base of your finger.
2. Mark where the ends meet.
3. Lay flat against a ruler, measure the length in millimeters (mm) and inches.
4. Calculate diameter: diameter = circumference ÷ π (≈ 3.14).
5. Refer to our Universal Conversion Chart below to find your US, UK, EU, and Japanese sizes.
Pro Tip: A 6 mm band fits tighter than a 2 mm band on the same finger - account for width when choosing 6 mm vs 8 mm rings.
Ring Size Chart
All our rings are made in standard US sizes. Use the chart below to see how US sizes correspond to finger circumference and convert to international sizes. The same sizing format applies to engagement rings, wedding bands, and fashion rings

Method #3: Measuring an Existing Ring
● If you own a ring that fits right, use a digital caliper to measure its internal diameter in mm and inches.
● Or, overlay it on our printable PDF gauge.
● Wide bands (especially 8 mm+) may require sizing up by a quarter or half size for comfort.

Common Sizing Mistakes & Troubleshooting
● Measuring in different temperatures: Cold fingers read smaller; warm fingers read larger.
● Ignoring knuckle shape: Measure both base and knuckle—choose a size that fits both comfortably.
● Assuming metal type doesn’t matter: Softer metals (pure gold) may deform; always verify size after setting.

Measure circumference with a string/ruler, divide by π for diameter in inches, then match to our chart.
Yes. Wider bands fit more snugly; you may need to size up ¼–½ for an 8 mm ring vs. a 2 mm band.
